NGK Law Now Handling Taxotere Hair Loss Lawsuits on a National Basis

The attorneys at NGK Law are now investigating and handling lawsuits for women that used the chemotherapy drug Taxotere while being treated for breast cancer.  Studies have emerged showing that from 3% to 6% of women that used Taxotere for their chemotherapy treatment have suffered from permanent baldness after their treatment was concluded.  What makes this situation so bad is that the manufacturer of Taxotere, Santofi-Aventis, did not warn about this risk to women undergoing treatment with Taxotere.

The Taxotere lawsuit attorneys at NGK Law believe that the failure to warn about the risk of permanent baldness when using its product is inexcusable.  Every woman is aware that when she undergoes chemotherapy treatment to treat breast cancer, there is a chance that she will temporarily lose her hair.  While that can be very difficult to accept, women know that this is only a temporary condition, and their hair will grow back when the treatment is concluded.  Tragically, that is not the case with Taxotere.  NGK Law’s Taxotere Lawsuit attorneys believe that thousands of women have suffered permanent baldness when they were treated with Taxotere during chemotherapy.

Many people would say that if permanent baldness was the trade-off for being cured of cancer, they would be ok with it.  However, other chemotherapy treatments do not cause permanent baldness like Taxotere.  NGK Law’s Taxotere lawsuits allege that the manufacturer of Taxotere did not disclose the risk of permanent baldness because of the strong likelihood that women would not use it, and instead use one of its competitor’s chemotherapy products.

As NGK Law continues to investigate and litigate Taxotere Lawsuits, it is expected that more information will emerge about what the manufacturer knew about the risk of permanent baldness, and when it could have been known. Sadly, it is expected that NGK Law will learn about thousands of women that now must deal with permanent baldness as a result of using Taxotere instead of a safer alternative chemotherapy treatment.

NGK Law is handling lawsuits on a nationwide for women that are suffering permanent baldness after undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer.  If you or a loved one is suffering from permanent baldness and underwent chemotherapy for breast cancer, please contact the experienced pharmaceutical and medical device attorneys at NGK Law at 314-241-1919 or 844-564-5529 to discuss the options available to you.  We have helped thousands of people injured by dangerous pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, and we welcome the opportunity to assist you.
