Court Admissions

Michael represents all types of injured individuals, with a particular focus on helping individuals who have been injured by drugs and medical devices. He has played an integral role in numerous nationally consolidated pharmaceutical litigations, including serving as the national law and briefing co-chair for the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the In Re: Yasmin and Yaz (Drospirenone) Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation. He currently serves in the same role for the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the In Re Pradaxa (Dabigatran Etexilate) Products Liability Litigation.

Michael also works extensively on class actions, representing classes of individuals who have been defrauded by large corporations or taken advantage of by their employers.

As a result of his experiences in his fields of practice, Michael’s thoughts have been sought out by both the media and his peers. His comment on various litigations has been requested by television, radio, and print media alike. He has even helped educate other lawyers on the topic of class actions by speaking in a CLE presentation entitled “Class Action Basics: Counseling Clients & Negotiating Cases.”

Michael obtained both his undergraduate and legal education in the State of Missouri. He attended college at Missouri State University where he majored in Finance and graduated cum laude. Michael then attended law school at the University of Missouri where he was a member of the Missouri Law Review and had two works published, The Current State of Co-Employee Immunity Under Workers’ Compensation Law, 70 Mo. L. Rev. 1315, and Missouri’s Interfacing of the First Amendment and the Right of Publicity: Is the “Predominant Purpose” Test Really That Desirable?, 69 Mo. L. Rev. 799.

Michael takes great pride in representing injured individuals. He knows his clients are often speaking to him in a time of great need and have nowhere else to turn. Michael knows his job is to level the playing field, and it is one he takes very seriously.

Stay In The Know

  • What should I bring to my initial consultation with a personal injury attorney?

Bring any relevant documents, such as medical records, police reports, insurance information, photos of the accident scene, and correspondence with insurance companies. This information will help your attorney at NGK Law Firm evaluate your case more effectively.

  • Can I still file a claim if I was partially at fault for the accident?

Yes, Missouri follows a "pure comparative fault" rule. This means you can still recover damages even if you were partially responsible for the accident. Your compensation will be reduced by the percentage of your fault. The skilled attorneys at NGK Law Firm can help evaluate the details of your case and advocate for fair compensation.

  • How much will it cost me to hire a personal injury attorney from NGK Law Firm?

NGK Law Firm operates on a contingency fee basis, which means you won't pay any legal fees unless we win your case. This ensures that high-quality legal representation is accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.
